As part of the FA National Game Strategy, each County FA has created a Local Strategy to provide for the development of football and facilities until July 2012. The submission of the overall Strategy was in place by 1st May 2008 to allow all parties to ascertain what investment is required for the four years.
The Derbyshire County Strategy was put together following consultation with as many stakeholders as possible. This included Leagues, Clubs, Referees, Coaches, School and Colleges, Local Authorities and the Local Education Authority.
Your input has been vital in helping Derbyshire County FA produce its four-year strategy and produce a County Plan to 2012.
“Once again, we’re listening for the voice of local football people to tell us how we’re doing and what still needs to be done to keep the grassroots game heading in a positive direction.”
“The National Game Strategy has seen increased participation in many areas, particularly refereeing and coaching and it is crucial that stakeholders take part in the survey to ensure that we as a County FA go from strength to strength providing quality football opportunities for all.”
The On-line Survey has now been completed and the results will be published shortly.
