To become Charter Standard Adult Club you need the following:
o A constitution
o Financial Management
o A Code of Conduct
o Insurance (Linked to Affiliation)
o An Equity Policy
o All coaches must have an Emergency First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
The Benefits Include;
o Certificate, Plaque, UMBRO vouchers and use FA logos & promotional material
o A £50 UMBRO voucher
o Access to Free U21, Youth & Women’s International tickets
o Increase opportunity to receive external funding, for new Goal Posts, Facility and Pitch development and Small Grants Schemes
o In-service training practical & theory
o Demonstrates to the local community that you are a well organised club
o Discounted coach education courses and access to free McDonalds courses
o Attracts both players and volunteers to the club
o Attracts sponsorship opportunities.
Checks are also now done with Derbyshire County FA’s Discipline Department. The FA expects FA Charter Standard Clubs to display high levels of behaviour.
