Monday 12th October saw a session for the members of the Derbyshire Female Coach Mentoring Scheme. The session was lead by Andy Poole, The FA’s Regional Coach Development Manager for the East Midlands region.
The session was attended by 12 members of the scheme and was based on the new FA Youth Module 2: Developing the Practice. Players from Pride Park Juniors Girls Under 14’s team took part in the session.

The Mentoring program is aiming to increase knowledge and confidence of active coaches and to give these coaches ongoing support. From this we hope that the coaches will develop as effective coaches working with their players and reach their potential.
