Rob Wilks, Derbyshire Dales District Council’s Sport Development Officer said

“The Football 4 Girls activity day held at Wirksworth Leisure Centre as part of our Summer Holiday Programme in partnership with Derbyshire County Football Association was a very successful day. The support we received in planning the day from Angie at Derbyshire County FA was superb and all the girls who took part enjoyed a range of fun activities which ended with them developing some productive links with a local club”. “Developing new and exciting opportunities that engage young people is really important and I hope we can plan future events that will build on this success”.
