Traditionally being a Girls programme The Movement has had citywide and national success in increasing participation with non/semi active girls and now it’s the boys turn.

FIFA’s official 5 a side game will be the driving force behind the programme which is being rolled out into school taster sessions focussed to create a series of afterschool and community based exit sessions. The Movement has secured some of the best futsal coaches in the region featuring some current England Futsal Internationals, to provide a high quality experience for everyone involved.

Marc Birkett, Get into Football Officer highlights "this project is hugely exciting and builds on some great work in futsal already taking place in the city. With the partnership with The Movement we can work alongside an established brand to help establish one of the most exciting teams sports around".

The Movement Futsal programe will offer players new and old the opportunity to play socially, competitively and gain and education by linking to FS Derby (FA National Futsal League Club) and Derby County Futsal Scholars programme.
