1) 14th July - The next deadline for the East Midlands Airport Community Fund  

This is a great little fund for clubs and groups operating towards the east and south of the county. It is worth a look if you need kit or equipment for your project. Funding available is up to £2K.

2) Small Grant opportunity through 'Carriers for Causes' 

This fund is worth a look if your project is located within 2 miles of one of the One Stop Shops scattered across the county. Grants are up to £1K.

3) Important news if you are looking to bid for capital funding from BIFFA Award  

Biffa are no longer funding sport related projects. However, they are continuing to support clubhouses or pavilions projects but only if the building can demonstrate regular use by the wider community beyond the sports club or team.

4) Recovery from alcohol and drug dependence grant available through Derbyshire County Council 

Grants of up to £40K are available, the deadline is 30th June.

5) Clubhouse Refurbishment Hints and Tips

There’s a link to a short video onto Derbyshire Sport’s website which has been produced by Sport England. It gives suggestions on how to refurbish and improve pavilions and clubhouses.
