The Journey Begins for Two DCFA Cups

There's not long to wait now for County Cup action for many Derbyshire clubs, as the First Round Draw for both the DCFA Sunday Senior and DCFA Sunday Junior Cup took place on Tuesday 12th September.

Teams now know who they will face at the start of their journey to the Final, which, for both cups, will be held at the home of Long Eaton United FC.

So who's in the draw?

The DCFA Sunday Senior Cup consists of 6 matches in Round One with 26 teams receiving byes into the second round of the competition. The current holders, FC Britannia from the C&DSFL, will begin their defence of the trophy in the next round having received a bye.

The DCFA Sunday Junior Cup consists of 22 matches and 10 byes to the second round. There will be new winners this season as the current holders, Lawns FC, were promoted to the Premier Division of the Derby Taverners League and are now playing in the Sunday Senior Competition for the first time.
