Derby County Community Trust’s Community Football and Education programme is designed for individuals wanting to attain post-sixteen sports qualifications and play competitive football alongside studying. You’ll get the opportunity to play against other clubs including Birmingham, Burnley, Crystal Palace and Sunderland, all built in to your programme of study.
Students will develop the necessary skills, qualities and characteristics that are required to work within a professional football club or national governing body, and gain transferable skills relevant across the sports industry and beyond.
Delivered in partnership with their education partners, all lectures, seminars and tutorials are delivered in supportive and inspirational environments across various sites in Derbyshire.
Alongside the academic element of the course, students will complete up to six hours per week of football training and take part in fixtures on Wednesdays across the region and country.
DCCT are hosting an open evening on Thursday 8th February at Friesland School, Sandiacre, NG10 5AF. 6.15pm-7.30pm
