About the Event

Do your players sometimes drift in and out of games or look disinterested? Do they sometimes kick a ball away in frustration or start to cry in a game or at training? Does it take your team sometimes 10 minutes to get going in a game? Do you want to be able to help your players to be good thinkers, solve problems and make good decisions in training and in a game? If so then this CPD event is for you!!

You will learn how you can support your players through a relational approach to support and change these behaviours and how through a relational stance you can help your player’s access their thinking.

The session will also help you to understand the stress management system and social engagement system so that you can support your players to give them the ability to regulate their bodies and brain so that they are ready to learn.

This will be explained by using the latest neuroscience, child brain development and attachment theory and give you strategies to implement all of this new found knowledge and understanding with your players in training and on match days.

This CPD opportunity is unique and something that I felt very passionately about providing for Derbyshire Coaches and therefore I am very pleased that Derbyshire FA have welcomed this and we can offer this amazing CPD night which I know will be so valuable and worthwhile to coaches working with children and adults.

The information that will be shared I am sure will leave you wanting to know more and evoke your curiosity around this subject matter. I have been fortunate to see and learn the information and I can assure you it is not to be missed!! - Sally Needham CCD Derbyshire

This session is open to coaches of all levels, even if they do not hold a coaching qualification.

Places are limited!
