Hosting a Tournament

Many clubs across the County look to host tournaments at various points of the season. You must be an affiliated club to host a tournament, only then can it be sanctioned by the County FA.

Once affiliated you are entitled to the following:

  • Permitted to use registered referees (registered referees are not permitted to officiate in un-affiliated football)
  • Covered under the public liability insurance
  • County FA guidance
  • County FA assistance - if you wish CFA representation at your event, please consult with our Football Development Team.

What we need from you:

  • Completed Tournament Affiliation Form (see documents section)
  • 2 sets of competition rules (please note, If this is U7 and/or U8's, please note that these need to be separate rules to other age groups due to non-competitive football).
  • £15 affiliation fee (per event)

All of this information must be sent at least 14 days before your event. This allows us time to process your form and discuss any issues with the competition rules
