FA Futsal Referee Course

The FA Futsal Referee Course is for both existing football referees and for those who don’t have a referee qualification.

This course is designed to provide training for those who want to referee Futsal and will focus on the following key areas:

  • Understanding the laws of Futsal and their practical application
  • The realities of your role - dealing with practical situations including misconduct
  • Putting your skills and knowledge into practice by refereeing live games

It is anticipated that the majority of learning will be facilitated in a practical environment. On the second day of the course candidates will referee games within a festival environment.

Course Aims and Objectives:

To provide learners with an introduction to refereeing Futsal, identifying the skills required to effectively referee games of Futsal. Following initial training the candidates will be expected to referee a minimum of six games before returning for a review session, during which their knowledge of Law will be assessed.

Opportunities to Referee:

Following successful completion of the course, candidates will have opportunities to referee at the Chesterfield Futsal League, Derby Futsal League and a number of other opportunities across the County.

Course Dates:

Saturday 19th August (9am - 4pm)

Sunday 20th August (9am - 4pm)

Candidates will need to complete a Call-Back Session which will be communicated in due course.
