Play Inclusive Football

play the game

Everyone should be able to play the beautiful game as football is For All, and inclusive football has really grown in Derbyshire over the past couple of years.

Across the county there are dedicated sessions available for individuals with disabilities as well as individuals who suffer from mental health issues, and Derbyshire is also the home to a growing Walking Football League!

East Midlands PAN Disability League

The East Midlands Pan-Disability League was set up in 2016 by Riverside Pan Disability’s team to give footballers with additional needs the opportunity to play competitive football in a safe, fun, friendly environment, the league operates in partnership with Nottinghamshire FA and Derbyshire FA.

The matches are played every 3rd Sunday of the month at Gresham Sports Park, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YF.

There is a youth league (under 16’s) and an adult league, all clubs who wish to join the league need to be affiliated to their County FA.

For more information, please contact East Midlands Pan-Disability League on empandisability@gmail.com.

Walking Football

Walking Football is exactly as the name suggests - you play football, walking. Usually aimed at people over 50, this inclusive, fun and sociable 5-a-side version of the game is slow-paced but lacks none of the passion or excitement of the original game.

You can play the game competitively by joining the Derbyshire Walking Football League or you can find a session near you by using our Walking Football Map!
