Play Inclusive Football

play the game

Everyone should be able to play the beautiful game as football is For All, and inclusive football has really grown in Derbyshire over the past couple of years.

Across the county there are dedicated sessions available for individuals with disabilities as well as individuals who suffer from mental health issues, and Derbyshire is also the home to a growing Walking Football League!

East Midlands PAN Disability League

Riverside PAN Disability FC, in partnership with Derbyshire County FA and Nottinghamshire FA, are looking to create an Adult (16+) PAN league for the 2017/2018 season.

Fixtures will be played on the third Sunday, to play 7-a-side games which will be held at their home ground; Long Eaton School, Thoresby Road, Long Eaton, NG10 3NP.

For more information please contact East Midlands PAN Disability Football League Chair Darren Bailey on darrenb1103@gmail.com.

Walking Football

Walking Football is exactly as the name suggests - you play football, walking. Usually aimed at people over 50, this inclusive, fun and sociable 5-a-side version of the game is slow-paced but lacks none of the passion or excitement of the original game.

You can play the game competitively by joining the Derbyshire Walking Football League or you can find a session near you by using our Walking Football Map!
