Flexi-Football

Football on your terms

The FA Elevens programme offers a flexible route into 11 a-side football through non-weekend leagues.

The programme is designed to attract players who do not currently play “traditional” weekend football by providing them with the chance to play 11-aside football in flexible, evening leagues. The Elevens Leagues are perfect for groups of friends, workplaces and individuals who can’t commit to a “traditional” club/team but still want to play 11-a-side football.

The FA Elevens League was initially introduced with a pilot league based at Lees Brook School in 2015. The Friday night 11 v 11 league was hugely successful with a host of players signing up to play.

To make the league sustainable and to ensure that the programme is recognised, Derbyshire County FA work in partnership with Powerplay to deliver the league and take responsibility for the effective and successful delivery of the FA Elevens Programme within the county.

The league adopt the format outlined below:

50 minute fixtures. (25 minutes each way with a short half time break)
14 week seasons. (8 team league across 14 weeks)
Teams are provided with a list of the season fixtures to allow players to plan ahead.
Roll on roll off subs.
Qualified referees.
Sin Bin and blue cards instead of yellow cards.
Unlimited squad sizes.
The option to sign players on until the night of the fixture.
Reduced administration for teams and players.
Use of the FA Full Time website for the league table and league admin.
Full sized 3G Venues.
