Study with DCCT in 2018
Are you looking to gain post-sixteen qualifications, while training and playing football representing Derby County? If so you can study with Derby County Community Trust in 2018.
Derby County Community Trust’s Community Football and Education programme is designed for individuals wanting to attain post-sixteen sports qualifications and play competitive football alongside studying. You’ll get the opportunity to play against other clubs including Birmingham, Burnley, Crystal Palace and Sunderland, all built in to your programme of study.
Students will develop the necessary skills, qualities and characteristics that are required to work within a professional football club or national governing body, and gain transferable skills relevant across the sports industry and beyond.
Delivered in partnership with DCCT’s education partners, all lectures, seminars and tutorials are delivered in supportive and inspirational environments across various sites in Derbyshire.
Alongside the academic element of the course, students will complete up to six hours per week of football training and take part in fixtures on Wednesdays across the region and country.
If you’re interested in learning more about the course, please register your interest to attend an open evening on Tuesday 12th December by visiting their site or you can email kieron.wicks@dcct.co.uk.
