This series focuses on 1-v-1 drills that incorporate a range of skill-based attacking and defending scenarios for players to improve their awareness, confidence and ability.
In this particular drill, the ball is rolled in to the attacker who has a free shot on goal. After shooting, two players enter the field with a different ball creating a 2-v-1 situation. After that attack has ended, two more players join the defender and that team become attackers, creating a 3-v-2. This drill tests passing, spatial awareness and shooting accuracy. Stay tuned for the next in the series!
