FA Grassroots Football Awards 2018 | Community Project
Derbyshire County FA are encouraging nominations to recognise the achievements of a particular Community Project.
Within the FA Grassroots Awards there is one category which focuses on Community Project of the Year. This particular award is for a community project which is inclusive and encourages participation for all, regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion or sex.
The FA are looking for nominations for a Community Project which has made a significant positive impact on a local community, which could be providing opportunities for women and/or girls to participate in grassroots football.
This is a new category, but it remains similar to last year's Best Inclusive Project Award, the winning Derbyshire project for 2017 was The BAME Referees Project.
