New Walking Football session starting in Bakewell

New Walking Football sessions for over 50s are being introduced in Bakewell from today for just £2 a session.

The sessions, which will be played at the Lady Manners school 3G pitch, are being introduced to offer more opportunities to play Walking Football to people living in the Derbyshire Dales region.

Whether you're looking to keep active, stay fit, or widen your circle of friends, Walking Football offers the perfect opportunity to do just that.

Angie Harper, Football Development Officer for the Male Pathway at the Derbyshire FA, said: “It’s always great to see new Walking Football sessions starting across the county but especially in regions like the Derbyshire Dales.

“To see such strong interest in football played in this format which is still fairly new and still growing is fantastic, and we’re delighted to be able to provide for those who show an interest.

“The new pitch at Lady Manners school is a great facility too, and we’re lucky to be able to put it to use for these new sessions.”

Lady Manners school can be found on Shotts Lane, Bakewell, DE45 1JA.
