Belper Leisure Centre Ltd is seeking to recruit a Part-Time Football Development Officer to support the delivery of the Belper Leisure Centre Football Development Plan and oversee all developments in relation to the new 3G Football Turf Pitch opened at the Leisure Centre during April 2015.
The position reports directly to the Leisure Centre Manager and will encompass the following areas:
- Growth and Retention
- Raising Standards and Improving Behaviour
- Running the Game
- Workforce Development
- Marketing, PR and Communications
To apply you need to be of graduate calibre (experience in lieu considered), have experience in football/sports development and an understanding of The FA’s National Game Strategy.
You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of football at a local level. You must also be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work with a team unsupervised. And will need to have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Essentially you must have a current driving licence, hold the 1st4sport FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football and be able to work evenings and weekends.
