female recreational football fund

Derbyshire clubs can access £400 grant through Female Recreational Football Fund

The Derbyshire FA are now providing their affiliated clubs £400 grants to increase female participation in recreational football.

Clubs can now apply for the funding online, and have until Wednesday 1st April to get their applications in.

The ‘Female Recreational Football Fund’ comes as a result of the Derbyshire FA securing funding from The FA, and will support the development of ‘mums kickabouts’ and women’s walking football sessions.

The scheme will support The FA’s ‘Women & Girls Gameplan for Growth Strategy’, to double participation, through supporting an increase in recreational opportunities across Derbyshire for adult females.

If your club would like to apply, please complete the application form by clicking here.

Only one application per club/organisation for a maximum of one project is permitted as it is anticipated that this funding will be extremely popular.

If you are successful, you will be notified by mid April with the expectation that your project will start in April/May.
