Football Operations Manager Ryan Haynes to leave Derbyshire FA

After nearly 10 years of impeccable service at DCFA, Ryan Haynes says his goodbyes to the County FA

Derbyshire FA can confirm that after nearly 10 years of service, Football Operations Manager Ryan Haynes is leaving the business.

Ryan Haynes joined Derbyshire FA in January 2014 as Referee Administration Officer, before being promoted to Referee Development Officer in September 2014. In July 2019, he was appointed Football Operations Manager, heading the financial profiling and asset management, as well as the regulatory and customer services functions of the business.

As well as his role as Football Operations Manager, Ryan is a Referee Tutor, a Level 3 Referee, and a Level 1 Coach. Anyone involved in grassroots football in Derbyshire over the past decade, whether it be from within a club, a league, or from a refereeing perspective, will be familiar with Ryan and the impeccable commitment and hard-work he’s put into the game.

Ryan said: “After nearly a decade of working at Derbyshire FA, I have made the decision to leave the organisation. This decision was not made lightly, and I will leave having worked with and met so many amazing people, including so many inspirational volunteers that keep the grassroots game in Derbyshire thriving. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a brilliant team at Derbyshire FA and have forged many friendships along the way. I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me. I wish Derbyshire FA every success for the future, and just because I’ll no longer be in post, that’s not to say I won’t still be around and involved in the game I love.”

Ryan will remain in post until Friday 24th November 2023.

Everyone at Derbyshire FA would like to wish Ryan the absolute best in his future endeavours and say a huge thank you for his commitment and service to the business.
