The final of the 2022/23 Cawarden Derbyshire Divisional Cup South will be Holbrook St. Michaels v Derby Singh Brothers.

Both teams entered the competition in the First Round with a buy.

Holbrook St. Michaels kicked off their cup campaign in the Second Round with a thrilling 2-2 encounter against local rivals Bargate Rovers, which was decided on penalties. The Quarter-Final saw Holbrook devastate Gresley Rovers Reserves with a 6-1 thrashing. The Saints completed their route to the final with a 3-2 win against Newhall United.

Derby Singh Brothers defeated Mickleover Athletic 3-2 in the Second Round. An exhilarating display in the Quarter-Final saw Singh Brothers come away with a 4-1 victory against Ashbourne Reserves. A close affair in the Semi-Final saw a 2-2 draw against Melbourne Dynamo, which Derby Singh Brothers won on penalties by 3-2.

Both sides play in the CML’s Black Dragon South Division and will now contest the final in Derbyshire FA’s Divisional Cup South.
