Join us for our AGM

Includes a host of educational workshops and a guest speaker

On Tuesday 21st November 2023, Derbyshire FA will host their Annual General Meeting at the SMH Group Stadium, home of Chesterfield Football Club.

This year, however, the AGM will offer something different. As part of Derbyshire FA’s 140th Anniversary celebrations, the AGM is open to all members to sign-up for an evening of educational workshops delivered by County FA staff, as well as a guest speaker still to be announced.

The evening is open to all for registration, as there are learning opportunities for everyone from all corners of the game, from coaching and refereeing to facilities and funding. Below is a list of workshops that will be available on the evening. Due to all workshops starting at the same time, you will only be able to attend one of the below.

Workshops

  • Referee & Assistant Referee Development delivered by Referee Development Officer Reece Davies.
  • An Exploration of Human Development in Coaching delivered by Football Development Officer Alex Walker.
  • Creating an Equal Game Environment within your Club delivered by Football Development Officer Callum Convery.
  • Facilities & Funding delivered by Football Development Officer Jack Bell.

The evening will start at 7:00pm and will finish at 9:30pm. The AGM will take place, then everybody will be divided into their groups for the workshops to commence. Then, everyone will come back together for the guest speaker at the end of the night.
