Derbyshire FA are offering a Refereeing Course this December, to adults wanting to start their journey as a match official.

The Adults Refereeing Course will teach you all the essentials you require as a new referee. 

Nick Hopton and James Oldham are match officials from Derbyshire, whose refereeing careers began at a local level. Nick, now a Premier League Assistant Referee, and James, a Football League Referee, speak about their journeys and why you should get involved in this side of the game. Video below.

COURSE DETAILS

Date: Thu 8 December 2022 (6:30pm-9:30pm) and Sun 11 December 2022 (9:30am-4pm)

Location: Staveley Miners Welfare FC (S43 3JL)

Price: £140 (The CML are offering £50 back - see below for more details*)

You MUST be 18 years old or over to be accepted onto the course.

*The Central Midlands League will give £50 back to those who agree to referee with their league, following the completion of the course. Payment will be made  after the first give games completed on the CMFL.
